AI cloud builders now have a complete solution for open AI infrastructure. Hedgehog now supports Supermicro switches, and Supermicro includes Hedgehog in its Rack Scale solutions.
Hedgehog integrated and certified our turnkey network software appliance on Supermicro datacenter topologies. Our secure zero touch provisioning (ZTP), automated control plane, and virtual private cloud (VPC) service perform as expected on the Supermicro SSE-C4632 100GbE switch in clos and collapsed core topologies.
Supermicro SSE-C4632 is the 32 port 100Gbps switch designed to provide high performance and non-blocking with 6.4Tbps switching capacity in front-end AI networks. Hedgehog has tested and certified the the SSE-C4632 for roles as leaf or spine in a clos topology cloud data centers and a collapsed core topology for edge compute locations. The SSE-4632 is a great choice for front-end IO and storage networks in AI cloud, or in converged networks for general purpose cloud compute.
Supermicro SSE-T8032S is a 64 port 400Gbps switch built with Tomahawk 4 and 25.6Tbps switching capacity for backend networks connecting NVIDIA H100 GPUs with RDMA over converged ethernet (RoCEv2). Hedgehog will test, certify and support this device when it is available for sale later this year.
Hedgehog is proud to partner with Supermicro as a key enabler for AI cloud infrastructure. Hedgehog AI network software runs Supermicro AI cloud infrastructure. Supermicro Rack Scale Solutions accelerate time to delivery with fully tested plug and play GPU server racks. The servers in these racks plug into Supermicro switches, while Hedgehog software automatically controls and optimizes the AI cloud. When AI cloud builders buy rack scale solutions from Supermicro, they can literally plug in their racks and start using them. Hedgehog ZTP chain-boots the network and provides a cloud API for foundational cloud services. Supermicro rack scale users get the same user experience familiar on AWS, Azure or GCP with a Hedgehog API for Virtual Private Cloud services.
Hedgehog delivers the switching software and security components for Supermicro's 5S total IT solutions strategy. The 5S strategy is the key driver for Supermico's path to $25B+ in AI cloud solution revenue.
